In the Kitchen at our centres

Healthy Eating Habits

Our top priority is always the health and well-being of the children in our care. That’s why we make sure to provide them with meals and snacks that meet the standards set by the CCEYA (Child Care and Early Years Act) and follow Canada’s Food Guide. By encouraging healthy eating habits, we hope to support the growth and development of each child under our care.

Importance of Nutrution

Providing nutritious meals to our children is essential for their growth and development. In our centres’ kitchen, we prioritize healthy eating and take measures to ensure that children receive the best possible nutrition. Our educators join the children at meal times to model healthy eating habits and encourage the exploration of new foods.

We empower children to have a healthy food relationship and try new foods, including fresh fruits, vegetables, healthy grains, proteins and dairy. We offer allergy support dietary programs for those children with specific requirements.
